Mission
We are here to serve young adults facing the challenges associated
with social, emotional, and mental health. Providing care,
education, health, and therapy and through the delivery of
proactive, creative, and person-first responsive practice steeped in
trauma specialism, our staff are brave, curious, solution-driven and
model hope at all times.
We want our young adults to be happy and healthy, to grow, learn
and thrive, and when our young people leave, they are equipped
with the values, resilience, strength, and independence to make
the transition to adulthood.
Over time, our young people learn to connect with the world, value their
uniqueness, celebrate their identity with a sense of purpose, grounded in selfrespect, a value for others, and the skills, security and safety, well-being and
health to help shape their lives.
We are a community of reflective practitioners, using our experiences to
challenge our existing knowledge and the status quo, to ask questions, and
think critically, providing a safe place for our team to continue to learn, grow
and develop in and through their practice.
We provide a nurturing and optimistic place of belonging and safety. The 8two
hands9 of care giving help young adults to thrive, building relationships and
connecting through warm, affectionate interactions that follow young adult9s
interests and strengths, provide appropriate experiences and communicate
the supervision, structure and boundaries that young adults need to feel safe
and secure.
