Annual Reunion Dinner - Founders day Supper
The tradi琀椀onal reunion dinner, held for decades
under the banner of Founder’s Day Supper, takes
place at Trinity School on 21 March.
For those who have, inexplicably, not a琀琀ended
before, the evening is a rela}vely informal and
friendly chance to catch up with old school friends
over a glass and a good meal. As has been the case
for many years, partners and friends are warmly
invited to a琀琀end.
This year we are delighted that David Swinson has
accepted our invita}on to take the chair. David has
just stepped down as Head of Music at Trinity aver
23 years. He will undoubtedly be an interes}ng and Tables seat eight to ten people, so pu琀�ng a table
together from a year group or a club is easy.

database of members and can contact them ( while
staying within the strict data protec}on laws!).

encouragement, can celebrate his enormous
contribu}on to the life of the School.
As ever the bar will open at 6.30, there will be the
tradi}onal popular tour of the school buildings led
by Estates Manager Gordon Ferguson, star}ng at
6.45, and we will sit down to eat at 7.30&..on the
dot!

Colin Warnock, noted Mitre Player, musician and all
-round entertainer, is masterminding ceremonies as
Toastmaster.
Many reading this note, par}cularly some younger
members, may never have been to the event. To
encourage them to sample this excellent occasion
the Club is o昀昀ering a free drink for all those who
were at the school during David9s }me, with which
to drink his health. For those who cannot 8do the
math9 that is everybody who lev the school in 2001
or later.
Those of us of more mature years will obviously
need no such incen}ve to a琀琀end this landmark
event in the Club9s calendar.
