OUR DIFFERENCES HAVE
SUSTAINED LIFE ON
EARTH FOR MORE THAN
THREE BILLION YEARS.
Rather than dividing us, diversity of plant, animal,
and human life makes us stronger, more resilient,
and better prepared to face the future. The more
resources nature has on hand, the better equipped
we are to adapt, rebound, and heal.
TNC understands that the full spectrum of human
needs and perspectives must be considered if
we are to build a future where both people and
nature thrive. That belief has led us to transcend
conventional “environmental” boundaries and
pursue wide-ranging partnerships that foster
better conservation outcomes.
Our collaboration with community organizations,
businesses, and government agencies is at the heart
of our approach. We are especially committed
to learning from and partnering with Indigenous
Peoples, such as the Wabanaki Tribes of Maine.
