Placement queries
Do I need to drive in placement?
A driver’s licence is an advantage but not a requirement as all of our clients will be accessible
by public transport. We do have some clients who live in areas where driving is an
advantage. The client provides the car and the insurance, for you to be able to drive you and
your client for the occasional trip out and about or to go shopping.
Will I have to wear a uniform?
Whilst our Professional Carers are not asked to wear a uniform, we have high expectations
regarding presentation. During your training and whilst at placement you should dress
smartly, avoiding jeans or anything ripped or torn (even in designer).
