Why invoke the Sabbath in this sermon? He is preserving it’s meaning to the very
end. It would not matter if one travels on the Sabbath if it had passed away and
of all people, Jesus (Yahusha) would know that. He is saying they are still keeping
the Sabbath to the end because He intends for us to do so. If He did not, He
would have abolished it and not told us He would not. Even until the Day of
Judgment which is the only time there will be a new heaven and new earth, Isaiah
says we will still be worshipping Him on the Sabbath.
Isaiah 66:22-23 KJV
For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me,
saith the Lord, so shall your seed and your name remain. And it shall come to pass,
that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh
come to worship before me, saith the Lord.
Even in Revelation, believers are found keeping His commandments and Sabbath.
Revelation 22:14 KJV
Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life,
and may enter in through the gates into the city.
Revelation 14:12-13 KJV
Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God,
and the faith of Jesus. And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write,
Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that
they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
The Bible also places great emphasis on the Sabbath and the Law and it continues
through to the end times. Anyone teaching men to break His commandments will
be the least in His kingdom as they do not represent His Word. This is why we
must all prove all things for ourselves or we will be deceived. Notice that is how
Messiah began his message in Matthew 24. The Book of Jubilees is the key to
keeping His Word as it is the book of details regarding not only detail of the Law
but it is the Torah Calendar which royally disagrees with the modern Hebrew
calendar from Babylon.
