CHAPTER 2:
1 Cyrus is moved by Elohim to build the
Temple, 5 And gives leave to the Yahudim to
return and contribute to it. 11 He delivers
again the vessels which had been taken
thence. 25 Artaxerxes (Cambyses) forbid the
Yahudim to build any more.

Or, this.
1 In the first year of Cyrus
king of the Persians, that the
word of Yahuah might be
accomplished, that he had
promised by the mouth of
YirmiYahu:
2 Yahuah raised up the
spirit of Cyrus the king of
the Persians, and he made
proclamation through all his
kingdom, and also by writing,
3 Saying, Thus says Cyrus

Yahuah, has made me king of
the whole world,
4 And commanded me to build
him an house at Yerusalem in
Yahudea.
5 If therefore there be any
of you that are of his people,
let Yahuah, even his Lord be
with him, and let him go up to
Yerusalem that is in Yahudea,
and build the house of Yahuah
of Israel: for he is Yahuah that
dwells in Yerusalem.

with cattle, and other things,
which have been set forth by

at Yerusalem.
8 Then the chief of the
families of Yahudea, and of
the tribes of Benyamin stood
up: the priests also and the
Levites, and all they whose
mind Yahuah had moved to
go up, and to build an house
for Yahuah at Yerusalem,

10 King Cyrus also brought
