History of the Nissan Figaro
The Nissan Figaro, revealed to audiences in Japan in
1991, presented the past and future and conveyed
feelings of nostalgia, vibrance and anything but
ordinary.
Created as a Limited Edition in 1991, only 20,000
Figaros were produced in the legendary Pike
Factory, Due to the overwhelming popularity a
lottery system had to be introduced to cope with the
demand,
The inspiration came from the 1935 Datsun Roadster
with heavy influences from the Art Deco Era.
It is now estimated that only 7,000 remain across the
world, approximately 4,000 of those are in the UK.
