Established in 1926 by Don Eduardo Orendain, Batanga Tequila is
traditionally distilled using 100%
agave. Batanga Tequila is created
using agave with only the best
piñas selected to guar- antee the
excellent flavour and taste profile,
and only tradition- al production
methods such as brick ovens and
pot stills.

For maturation only ex-Bourbon
barrels are used. Rested for a
minimum of 4 - 6 months which is
double the minimum time required
(2 months). The origin of the name
Batanga is in the town of Tequila,
where there’s a small, nondescript cantina
called La Capilla - home
of the Batanga, a drink created by
Don Javier Delgado Corona.
