FRBTXA2 Beaujolais, Bichot Parcellaire, Burgundy - £8.56
The nose is both fine and intense with floral notes of violet, enhanced by the fruitiness that is
characteristic of Gamay. The palate is refreshing and fleshy, subtle yet full-bodied featuring red fruit
flavours. The finish is long, refreshing and ends on a fruity note.
FRBTXD2 Macon Rouge, Pierreclos, Bichot. Mâconnais, Burgundy - £10.56
The nose is redolent of cherry, plum and mild spices. Soft and straightforward on the palate with intensely
fruity flavours against a tangy background. The finish is refreshing with notes of red fruit. The village of
Pierreclos is located in the southernmost part of the Mâconnais region. Because it borders the Beaujolais
region, this type of soil is particularly well suited to the Gamay grape.
FRDBME2 Domaine de la Baume, Merlot, Languedoc/D’Oc - £9.18
Awash with damsons and redcurrants on the nose which follow all the way through on the palate - warm
and silky with a dramatically long finish.
FRASXB4 Côtes du Rhône, AOC, Andeol Salavert (37.5cl) - £5.44
The colour is crimson robe with purple nuances. Intense aromas of red fruits and spices. A palate which is
round and harmonious with a spicy finish.
FRSMXA2 Côtes du Rhône, AOC, Commandeur de St. Michel - £8.46
A blend of Grenache and Syrah with concentrated fruity aromas of soft small red berries, with a hint of
spices and liquorice. This is a clear, bright and garnet coloured wine. On the palate it is rich and soft but
also with well balanced fruit (vg).
FRCBXA2 Costieres de Nimes, Ch Grand Escalion, Haut Turcas - £10.84
Deep purple-red colour. The nose has a nice flattering intensity, dominant red cherry fruit aromas with a
touch of fine spices and liquorice. It has silky tannins coated with flavours of red berries.
FRDLXA2 Bordeaux Rouge, Merlot - Cabernet. Dulong - £7.95 "Brilliant Bordeaux"
Fine and elegant with fruity and spicy notes, with a touch of vanilla aroma. A smooth full-bodied and wellbalanced wine with a supple and delicate character and velvet tannins. This Bordeaux has a medium
depth of colour with red berry fruits such as raspberry and cranberry.
