e were sipping hot chocolate around the campfire at the
2023 Jacobus Vanderveer Colonial Christmas and Bedminster Township tree lighting, when what to our wondering eyes
did appear 3 Santa Claus without a single reindeer. Decked out in
a brassy, red, retro Coca-Cola style Santa suit and clanging a bell,
the big man rolled into town post-war, vintage-style, on a 1953
Mack L fire truck, driven by volunteers from Far Hills - Bedminster Fire Department9s bravest, and guided by Mack9s trademark
chrome bulldog.
123 years ago, the fledgling Far Hills - Bedminster Fire Department paid a two dollar bonus to the first fireman to show up with
