acculloch Hall Historical Museum (MHHM) in Morristown, will be fully decorated for holidays throughout the season! Trees small and large will adorn the
period galleries alongside live arrangements, and visitors are urged to take special note
of the ornaments on the tree in the Drawing Room, crafted by students from the Assumption School, a tradition dating back more than 30 years.
The Center Hall Thomas Nast Gallery will feature a selection of Christmas images and images of Santa Claus by American political
cartoonist Thomas Nast (1840-1902). Although Clement Clarke Moore had given us a good description of Santa Claus in his 1822
poem, A Visit from St. Nicholas, also commonly known as, `Twas the Night Before Christmas, it wasn9t until 1870 that Thomas Nast gave
us an image Santa Claus we can all agree on. Nast9s early engravings stayed true to Moore9s description and thrilled readers with their
