The Poh-Chang Academy of Arts, Thailand9s first official
art institute, was founded in 1913 during His Majesty King
Mongkut (King Rama IV)9s reign. In 1918, Nab Bungkom enrolled
at the Poh-Chang School and later became a teacher
there after his graduation, serving until his retirement.
Teacher Nab is renowned for his strong association with the
Poh-Chang Academy of Arts and his expertise in drawing,
painting, and various other fine arts. He structured his
teaching around fundamental art principles, emphasizing
precision and skill in drawing and coloring still-life paintings.
Due to his extensive collection of art and antiques
and his wide-ranging knowledge, his classroom
