Roong Terapichit is an artist who creates works in the mixed media genre,
utilizing diverse materials that reflect contemporary lifestyles, combined with
the arrangement of empty spaces and geometric shapes designed to convey
rhythm and movement uniquely. He was born in 1948 in Nakhon Ratchasima
province. He graduated from the Faculty of Painting, Sculpture and Graphic Arts
at Silpakorn University and obtained a master9s degree from the OTIS Institute
of Los Angeles, California, USA. Afterward, he became a lecturer at Silpakorn
University until retirement. Roong received numerous awards from national art
exhibitions, showcasing both traditional paintings and mixed media artworks,
and participated in various art competitions and exhibitions nationally and
internationally. He passed away in 2021 at the age of 73.
