movement blending Thai traditions with modern elements.
Their works often nostalgically depicted the serene and
beautiful rural Thai life, showcasing traditional attire and
hairstyles while building upon traditional Thai painting.
During this period, Angkarn Kallayanapongsa stood out
as both a painter and a poet, renowned for his works
that evoked the Thai spirit by illustrating legendary tales
such as Kinnaree, wood nymphs, and stories from classical
literature. Angkarn9s distinctive technique involved using
charcoal sticks to draw on paper. His poetry, recognised ,2*"N2. /12/ 1/.2*0N
