Henry,
We don’t say it enough. You are impressive! You amazed parents with your
speeches in pre-kindergarten. You were valedictorian of your elementary
school. In middle school your teachers predicted that your success would be
so great that we would all be working for you one day! In high school your
leadership in sports, student government, ambassadorship coupled with
your fearlessness about building something new and sending missions into
space twice is nothing short of amazing!
We watch as you climb past challenges and steadily rack up achievements.
Your mountain may be higher than most. Casting our eyes beyond you there
isn’t a peak in sight. As you grow you may see fewer peers and are tempted
to settle. I know you will choose to 昀椀ght through it and ful昀椀ll your potential
for greatness. For you, success is not a matter of ‘if,’ but ‘how far.’ Stay in
Jesus’ will and you are never alone.
I am with you always, even until the end of the world.
– Matthew 28:20
