“We’d already done many of the quick wins: like switching to LED
lightbulbs, installing time switches and optimising our heating systems.
It was time to look at how we could overcome the barriers to realising
bigger ideas, like self-generation, that can make a bigger difference.
After all, we’re in the business of teaching students to think out of the
box, so we needed to lead the way.”
