America can be like a prismrefracting and creating a spectrum of parallels. Different spaces,dimensions where some groups spend eternity devoid of anyother presence but their own until the distortion of isolatedrealities, or the gated community, becomes transparent andclarity produces a single light. The unification of the unfilteredlight reveals our parallel communities, neighbors, friends, andfoes. Those unexamined narratives that live next door becomeall the more human.
