Education aside, Warminster instilled
valuable inter-personal values which we
believe set us apart from others in what
was an intense and highly competitive
interview process at Goldman Sachs.
This included soft-skills such as an ability
to clearly communicate and articulate
our ideas, as well as presenting as
well-rounded individuals who already
had acquired multiple team building
experiences. We were both prefects and
gained so much from the wide variety of
tasks assigned to us. Learning how to
lead, not only those younger than us,
but our peer group and therefore our
friends, has proved to be invaluable.
I spent the last 4 years of my school
career at Warminster and I absolutely
thrived there. Prior to joining I had
experienced 3 very difficult years at a
school where I really didn’t fit in, and my
confidence was exceptionally low.
However, at Warminster I was finally
able to be myself. I refined existing skills
and interests and developed new ones.
There were innumerable opportunities
to try new things and I gained so much
from the academic and extra-curricular
life at Warminster. I will always be
grateful for the small class sizes,
dedicated teachers and the
personalised education I received.

There was never a culture of looking
down on others – our individuality
was respected. On recent visits back
to the School I have noticed that this
generosity of spirit seems to be
encouraged even more, which is
heartening to see.

I think Warminster set me up really
well for my future. I was encouraged
to pursue anything and everything.
I learned that you
can achieve anything
you want to but you
must treat everyone
with respect.
