The Hospitality microcredential will provide those looking to start their career in hospitality with the
background to work in a customer-focused industry, while learning necessary skills such as basic hospitality,
customer service, sanitation and safety, and beverage management.
Students who complete the Hospitality microcredential earn ten college credit hours that may later be
transferred to one of Jefferson’s certi昀椀cate or degree programs.
Courses Required to Earn This Microcredential
Introduction to Hospitality (HOS 101) – 3 credits
Bartending Management (HRM 274) – 3 credits
Sanitation and Safety (CUL 130) – 1 credit
Customer Service (BUS 230) – 3 credits
