A notary public of the common law is a public o昀케cer constituted by law to serve the public in noncontentious matters usually concerned with general 昀椀nancial transactions, estates, deeds, powers-ofattorney, and foreign and international business.
Gain a comprehensive understanding of the authority, duties and responsibilities of the Notary Public O昀케ce.
Topics include avoiding con昀氀icts of interest, maintaining professional ethics, charging proper fees, handling
special situations, when to defer to an attorney, and minimizing legal liability. An 80 question practice exam is
included.
Traditional college 昀椀nancial aid is not applicable for non-credit courses at this time.
