Croydon, Marrickville and Redfern Health
Centres are the three largest health centres in
Sydney Local Health District and accommodate
a number of clinical streams that deliver
preventative and early intervention, communitybased health care.
Services offered include: Child and Family
Nursing, Medical and Allied Health, Community
Nursing, Oral Health, Psychiatry, Mental
Health, Podiatry, Harm Reduction and
NSW Health Pathology.
Highlights:
• Continued to support the COVID-19 pandemic
response with 55,000 people tested for
COVID at Redfern COVID-19 clinic since
April 2020, vaccination clinics at Croydon
and Marrickville for children 5-11 years and
deployment of staff to other sites across
the District.
• Launched the District’s Mobile Health Clinic.
• Upgraded all centres, including a new under
water theme mural in the Child and Family
area at Marrickville.
