At STEFFCA, a dedicated commitment to sustainability is deeply integrated in the organization's
ethos. A key focus lies in pursuing substantial reductions in greenhouse gas emissions, supported by a
comprehensive strategy that includes calculating
every subcategory within different Scopes.
Scope 1 Emissions
In the reporting period, STEFFCA’s Scope 1 emissions amounted to a total of around 70.3 tonnes of
CO2e. Scope 1 emissions account for 73% of total
STEFFCA’s Scope 1 and 2 emissions calculated
for this report. These emissions’ primary source is
the use of vehicles. The company is mindful of the
environmental impact of its operational activities but
should also actively explore and implement sustainable alternatives for its vehicle 昀氀eet.

Scope 2 Emissions
The company's rigorous approach to emissions
extends to Scope 2 GHG emissions, encompassing
a detailed assessment method. In the reporting
period, location-based emissions were calculated
at 28.1 tonnes CO2e. Energy-saving measures are
a core component of STEFFCA’s efforts to mitigate
emissions in this scope.
Scope 3 Emissions
STEFFCA managed to report on 15 out of 15 Scope
3 categories, calculating emissions of around 1,199
tonnes CO2e, with the highest contributing factors
being ‘Purchased Goods and Services’, ‘Downstream
Transportation & Distribution’, and ‘Fuel- and energy-related services’. These Scope 3 emissions
represent a multifaceted set of categories, and in
general, having higher emissions in Scope 3 than
