These Emissions are generated from equipment
owned or controlled by STEFFCA. The emissions
include those from fuels combusted in stationary
and mobile sources (vehicles, boilers, generators,
etc.). Other GHG emissions, such as refrigerant and
coolant gases, are also included in Scope 1 emissions.
These emissions are associated with purchasing
electricity, warm water, steam or cooling. They are
generated during the production of the energy consumed by STEFFCA but occur at sources outside of
the company’s boundaries.
These emissions occur throughout STEFFCA’s
value chain. They result from activities that are not
directly owned or controlled by the company but are
in昀氀uenced by its operations. Scope 3 emissions include 15 upstream and downstream subcategories,
which are further explained on pages 17-21.
