Sustainable Development Goals
(UNSDGs)
In 2019 Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce
signed up to the UN Global Compact and at
the start of 2022 we created a Sustainable
Development Goals (SDG) calendar, focusing on
each of the SDG and raising awareness of the
SDG. We want to support as many businesses as
possible to work towards achieving each of the
17 goals.
To support the 2030 UN SDG agenda we will:

Work with the government and key
stakeholders to support and strengthen the
contribution of SMEs in achieving the SDG.

Provide webinars and case studies from our
members so that we can share best practise
and bene昀椀ts of working towards achieving
the goals.
Support government and stakeholders to
monitor and develop effective partnerships
for the SDG.
•
Develop policy and lobbying activity to have
maximum impact in addressing SDG.
•
Encourage more businesses to sign up to
the UN Global Impact and understand their
impact on the UN SDG.
