Lifelong Animal Lover Becomes Donor
Long-time donor and friend of the SPCA of Texas Alexis Martinez
reflects on how she came to know the organization and why she
makes it a priority.
“When I was a kid, I used to watch all the animal shows. The
rescue shows, the anything that had to do with dogs, cats, horses,
everything. And at one point they mentioned uh supporting your local
shelter and I looked up...the Texas SPCA of Texas and then I did more
research on them.
I like how they’re run financially and then how they bring in dogs, cats
and others and care for them. I liked it, I learned from it, and I want to
continue to support that. I have a soft spot for especially dogs but for
all animals in general. There’s no better teacher of unconditional love
than our pets.”
Martinez urges all to consider the SPCA of Texas when choosing their
favorite charity. Because of YOU, our donors, animals go from hurting
and hopeless to finding their happily ever after every single day.
