80 years
of serving and helping
animals in North
Texas.
This year we have been overwhelmed with nostalgia as we celebrate the SPCA of
Texas’ 80th anniversary. It’s remarkable how far our organization has come since
1938, growing from the small group that was operating out of our founder’s home
to the oldest and largest animal welfare organization in North Texas.
Despite the growth through the years, the SPCA of Texas’ commitment to North
Texas animals has remained our guiding light. But none of it would have been
possible without your help! Thank you for supporting our mission to provide every
animal with exceptional care and a loving home. All money donated to the SPCA
of Texas stays in North Texas to help our local community. By giving locally, you
have allowed us to say yes to do what it takes to help the animals, whether we’re
saving animals on a cruelty case (like the 110 animals we seized in October), or
providing free spays or neuters to thousands of pets in Southern Dallas. Thank
you to everyone involved in making sure these pets are rescued, rehabilitated and
placed into new and loving homes, from our very generous donors and advocates
to our hardworking volunteers and staff. We could not do it without each and every
one of you.
