1.5. Sustainability at Terratech
As we are starting to see the impact of climate change, excavators are
already an indispensable machine when preemptive measures are taken
against future impact but at the same time also an indispensable machine
when cleaning up after various environmental disasters. This can for
example be when overhead power lines are put into the ground or when
protective walls are created against potential 昀氀oodings as preemptive
measures or when cleaning up after storms, 昀氀oods or earthquakes.
As already mentioned, our greatest positive impact on the environment is
the fact that our products can make excavators up to 40% more e昀케cient.
This means that if all excavators would be equipped with a Steelwrist
tiltrotator with SVAB and Sjørring components we can do much more with
each excavator and considering that the overall penetration of tiltrotators
on a global level still is well below 昀椀ve percent there is still a lot of room for
Terratech’s o昀昀ering towards a sustainable world.
Sustainability is therefore a cornerstone for Terratech, not just when
developing products but also in the way we run our business. We are
following ISO standards, implementing policies to maintain a more
responsible and safe business practice as well as continuously trying to
reduce our emissions and improving our impact on the environment.
