ADULT DAY SERVICES
Adult Day Services (ADS) serves adults with disabilities who require
some supervision, but do not need around-the-clock care. The
program is an arts and recreation-based social model program
designed to get participants out of the house, active, and engaged
in their community.
Destiny Then and Now
Destiny Carpenter (seated in the swing) has been attending Signal
Centers since she was a little girl. Now, at 27 years old, she is a
familiar face at ADS. Destiny has Down9s syndrome and Autism, and
her parents stated if it wasn9t for ADS, she would be a completely
different person, likely sitting at home in her room watching TV. They
have seen her grow into an adult at Signal, saying she is conodent
and a self-starter now.
