LENA
LENA, or Language ENvironment Analysis, is a wearable
device that measures a child9s language acquisition. Our
Early Childhood Quality Coaches instruct educators on
how to use the device, how to measure progress, and
most importantly, teach them interventions on how to
increase a child9s communication skills. Here, Judy Sisk is
working with Hixson United Methodist9s Eva Jenkins on
how to use LENA with a child in her classroom.
