DEVELOPMENTAL THERAPY
Signal Centers9 developmental therapists conduct visits in 9 counties across East
Tennessee. Kelly DeJong was called in to help the Bullards after the mother,
Amber, noticed her daughter, Alora (seated on her lap), was more interested in
playing with her toys than making eye contact with people, an indication there
was a delay in her social communication.
Kelly works with the Bullards to develop tools
that will help Alora meet those important
developmental milestones. Amber said
she has seen a ton of improvement in her
daughter just in the month she has been
seeing Kelly, and having her as a resource
has made her feel more conodent as a mother.
