ASSESSMENTS
Signal Centers provides early intervention services
in two steps: assessments and developmental
therapy.The orst step in addressing developmental
delays is conducting an assessment.
We utilize the Battelle Developmental Inventory,
an assessment that measures mastery of
developmental milestones in the domains of
communication, social-emotional, adaptive, motor,
and cognitive development. These assessments
provide a roadmap for further interventions and
therapies. We provide these assessments for
34 counties in East Tennessee.
