SUMMER CAMPS
Signal Centers offers unique summer camp experiences for children
of all abilities, specializing in social and emotional development
through fun activities. During the summer of 2022, three camps were
held: Camp Signal, Chatter Camp, and Vision Academy.
Camp Signal is a six-week camp that includes themed weeks, and
great activities like visits from the Chattanooga Fire Department, a
petting zoo, and water and ice cream day.
Chatter Camp is a one-week camp for nonverbal children and
teens. Campers are taught how to use Augmentative and Alternative
Communication (AAC) devices.
Vision Academy is a one week camp for children, teens, and
adults who have no or low vision. Campers are taught orientation
techniques, how to use the accessibility features on devices, and
much more.
