Vicki Henson
Vicki was a weaver for 15 years, but as her vision
narrowed from macular degeneration, she found
herself dissatisoed as she began struggling to create
textile art. In turn, Vicki became withdrawn and
depressed with the realization of her new challenges.
She began attending a weekly art expression group
for artists with low vision at the Hart Gallery. Being
able to explore new mediums helped her feel less
isolated and cope with her changing visual abilities.
