TRAVELING LEADERSHIP
SPECIALISTS (TLS) INCLUDES
$4,954 FOR SPECIAL TLS
GRANTS
Traveling Leadership Specialists (TLS) provide support to collegiate chapters and
members through individual and group development. This includes workshops, lectures
and one-on-one coaching. Each TLS is assigned to one of the eight districts and one TLS
specifically works with chapters in the Chapter Advancement Program (CAP).
In the 2023-2024 academic year, the TLS team conducted over 133 chapter visits.
Approximately 105 out of 118 chapters received some version of a TLS visit this
academic year. Additionally, the TLS team conducted over 880 chapter president
touchpoints throughout the year. All chapters received at least two chapter
president touchpoints.
Funding was provided by the De Jong Leadership Endowment.
Special TLS grants allow Sorority staff to attend individual and group development
courses that focus on professional development, group training and collaborative
learning moments.
I gained tools to help others in mental health crises.
Helping collegians develop as leaders, connecting them
with resources, and motivating them to push for positive
change is something I will never forget. Being a TLS
has made me a smarter worker, a stronger leader
and a better human.
