AI – Early Days
While Arti昀椀cial Intelligence (AI) is widely considered to be the most disruptive
technology in the history of modern marketing, understanding how to put it to
use and manage it is still in its infancy. AI is becoming increasingly prevalent at
organizations, especially in the talent process, but it is only as good as the data that
trains it, so DEI leaders are helping train models to avoid bias. They are helping to
establish ethical guidelines, ensure diverse representation in development teams,
conduct system bias audits, and promote transparency and accountability.
This is de昀椀nitely a work in progress as DEI leaders seek to identify and remove
AI bias in workplace, develop policy around AI use for workplace processes, and
address AI bias in Human Resources.
