A UNIQUE OPP
The June Shelton School and Evaluation Center uniquely offers the best of both worlds for bright students who learn
differently — a customized learning approach within a mainstream environment. It’s what we call the Shelton model.
So often, learning differences are perceived as a disadvantage. Shelton, however, views learning differences as exactly
that — a different way of learning. Shelton students are unique. Because they learn differently, they think outside of the
box, develop creative solutions and take risks. These wonderful characteristics are an advantage. In fact, data shows that
it gives them an asset over others in both college and adult life.
From the moment students step onto campus, they feel Shelton's nurturing, supportive environment.
