SEE
SEQUENTIAL ENGLISH
EDUCATION
SEE is a comprehensive, evidence-based, multisensory remediation program for learners with
dyslexia and related disorders. SEE teaches the patterns of the English language, using a wordfamily approach for single and multi-syllable word building. Multiple strategies support in-depth
analysis of decoding, comprehension, spelling, grammar, and written expression.
SEE is designed to improve oral language, phonological
awareness, processing speed, working memory and visual-motor
skills. This sequential, structured, pattern-based program benefits
learners aged 5 to adult. SEE is an effective language therapy
approach in a traditional, Montessori, and/or therapeutic setting.
SEE was created and authored by Dr. Joyce Pickering.
