June Shelton School and Evaluation Center has been working successfully with students who
learn differently since 1976. Since then, we have continued to develop the most effective
programs as possible for instructing and remediating these students.
It has been our desire to share information and resources with any school or individual in order to
serve more students who learn differently outside of Shelton’s walls. This goal was made possible
when the Outreach & Training department was born in 1991.
The Outreach & Training department continues to expand each year through workshops, speaker
presentations, extensive training programs, and post-graduate courses. Shelton’s reputation as a
leader in the field of learning differences is known throughout the United States and abroad!
At Shelton, we specialize in empowering educators, parents, and our community with top-tier
training and resources. Registrants have access to a wide array of high-quality materials designed
to enrich the learning experience.
We have trained more than 3,831 educators in Montessori, MTA (Multisensory Teaching
Approach), Sequential English Education, and Take Flight programs. In addition, the Outreach &
Training department has helped more than 3,731 non-Shelton students through the Scholars
program.
