PROCESS CHEESE PERFORMANCE IN APPLICATIONS
Schreiber’s process cheese category has a wide range of formulations, each with different performance capabilities
that can be used for various applications. Our portfolio of process cheese formulas provides versatility in applications
to maximize your profit. Our experts continuously perform application testing to provide information around which
process cheese formulations perform best for various customer application needs.
LOAF & BULK
Saucing is one of the most popular applications for our melting loaf formulas. To best align
with customer needs, we have two tiers: American and Pasteurized Process Cheese Product.
Both tiers work great as flavor carriers and functional performance in saucing applications like
soups, queso dips, and mac n cheese concepts. The Pasteurized Process Cheese Product is
offered at a lower price point and competes against cheese foods and cheese spreads. Other
formulas in our portfolio were designed to slice and shred exceptionally well and can be used
in other applications such as back-of-house deli sandwiches or topping on salads. These also
work great as a topical melt on baked potatoes and quesadillas. or loaf, if you are looking for a
product that can perform all three functions of slicing, shredding, and saucing, we recommend
using STK08348. Elect to use STK08313 for a product that slices and shreds the best. Select
STK08344 for a product that sauces the best.
SLICE
Process cheese slices deliver a consistent mouthwatering melt to applications. When looking to
provide a slice of cheese on burgers or hot sandwiches, process cheese slices offer excellent
coverage, added flavor, and high melt yield to complete and complement your application.
Our portfolio includes different slice counts, slice weights, and slice dimensions to meet your
application needs. If you are looking at a frozen or high heat application, we offer different
melts which hold up to these more intense applications. Schreiber has several options of
unique flavors for you to spice up your burger or hot sandwich build.
