Sasol employees have constantly
demonstrated their willingness to
support members of their
community through volunteering
their time and resources.
In support of CANSA
Shavathon, R44 062,90
was raised to continue in the
organisation’s endeavours.
Mandela Day
More than 3 500 children were
supported as part of Rise Against Hunger
and 180 senior citizens benefitted.
World Clean Up Day
150 employees participated
cleaning illegal dumping sites in
eMbalenhle, Secunda, Evander, Bethal and
Leandra.
More than 5 illegal dumping
sites were cleaned.
Enabled local recyclers to sell more waste
to local recyclers.
Casual Day

32 400 meals packs which
were donated to 29 ECDs,
five drop-in centres and
two stimulation centres.

Sasol in Society: 2020 Report
In support of casual day, through Sasol For
Good, employees contributed R40 000
which was donated to Osizweni School for
disabled and Kristopher Ryan Centre.
The funds donated supported more than
1 800 learners living with
disability. The contribution will go
towards the purchasing of machinery
needed by the school.
