Health and wellness
in communities
In partnership with the Free State Department of Health,
Epilepsy SA and a local HIV/Aids NGO, we reached more than
76 448 people as part of our HIV/Aids and TB awareness
campaign in the Fezile Dabi District. The project, started in
2016, was extended to raise awareness at schools. Six youths
were trained, and they facilitated HIV/Aids and TB awareness
sessions, reaching 809 learners. This year also saw
testing and screening conducted for 17 431 people
reached through our three Sasol-donated
mobile clinics. In addition, testing and screening
was conducted at three correctional services facilities in
the district.
