Over
119
employee

have been spent to date by
Sasol employees who have
provided technical business

Mandela Day
In 2020, over 1
300 employees in
South Africa packed over 168 000
meals which were distributed to Early Childhood
Development Centres as part of the annual Mandela Day
Celebration under the theme "#Be-the-Legacy", Rise
Against Hunger in partnership with the Rise Against
Hunger Foundation.
The campaign expanded its offering to cater for the
diversity within our organisations and employees created
toys from waste material for ECD centres hosted by
Clothes 2 Good, an organisation that utilises the
clothing supply chain, especially waste, to support ECD in
South Africa. The campaign included an ECD literacy
component, with focus on literacy in the mother
tongue.
