Sasol in society: 2020 report
The organisation actively aims to create a better life for all and
addresses socio-economic challenges communities experience across
the country. It directs response to a range of needs of the less fortunate
– including providing shoes, clothing and stationery to disadvantaged
scholars, disaster relief and animal welfare. Furthermore, contributions
are delivered to communities on significant annual celebratory events
– Mandela Day, Diwali and Christmas.
Over the past few years the organisation has grown considerably.
Notably, a turning point was the launch of Sasol for Good in 2016 which
prompted many Sasol employees to support the organisation, thus
growing contribution of various projects. His family and friends also
bolster efforts and social media has helped in promoting causes.
