The year in review: global impact continued
Skills development continued
Skills development in learning institutions and communities continued
NORTH AMERICA
The Louisiana Small Business Development Center at McNeese State
University’s skills workshops, which we support, reached more than
270 attendees. One participant improved his life by going from an
employee at a chiropractic office to owning his own practice, while another
with automotive skills opened his own used car service station.
These skills development workshops have seen a number of businesses
growing and creating jobs.
MOZAMBIQUE
Over 30 graduates from the Matola
Centre visited Sasol's Temane Central
Processing Plant as part of field
readiness learning on the 'Get Energy
Field Ready' training programme.
This project exposes youth to the oil and
gas industry. The current intake of
graduates come from Nampula and
Matola communities.
