In order to create value, we work with a broad range of
stakeholders in our regional areas and fenceline communities
ranging from government, civil society, business, academia,
among others; who we impact and, who in turn, impact us.
Given this interdependence in making decisions, we are mindful
of their expectations. We recognise that trust is a key element
of stakeholder relations, so we seek to build this through open
dialogue. We endeavour to meet our commitments by being
responsive and solutions-focused. We identify, assess and
monitor stakeholders’ expectations together with significant
issues that could have a bearing on our operations and strategy.
We track and provide regular feedback on our commitments and
issues that stakeholders raise.

Our position regarding our key
stakeholders in fenceline communities and
wider society, is clear: we aim to be
transparent, deliver on expectations and
co-develop solutions. In South Africa we
play an important role in contributing to
the needs of the society, in general, and
fenceline community in particular.
