Ryan Rinzel
I am very excited to share my journey in Mechanical
Engineering. I am currently a junior and heavily focused on
major specific classes. This summer I have an internship in
Stuart at Aerojet Rocket Dyne; a company that focuses on
design and manufacturing of rocket parts. This is real life
engineering methods and design.
So much has happened this past year and I am so thankful to
the Sailfish Point Foundation. All this is possible because
of your continued support and no words can describe how
thankful I really am. Again, thank you and I can’t wait to
see what this summer has in store.
Zander Bush
I am loving Duke. I am currently a history major with an
earth and ocean science minor. Duke has been amazing, and I
have worked diligently – taking extra courses each semester
and as a result will be graduating a year early.
I have decided that my next step is law school and a focus on
environmental law. I am hoping to tackle some of the larger
environmental issues plaguing this country. While I do not
know where I will be attending yet, I have been accepted at
Duke, Georgetown, Cornell, Vanderbilt, UVA, UChicago and
Columbia law schools. These are amazing options, and I am
lucky to have such a challenging decision.
I am incredibly thankful to the Foundation for having faith
in me and continuing to support my efforts.
Grace Long
I am currently a junior at Florida State University and my academic
progress is going very well. I am double majoring in Marketing and
Management. Last semester I qualified for the Dean’s List!!!
I recently accepted a summer 2022 internship with NextEra Energy
as an HRCS Strategic Initiatives Intern. I will be identifying
opportunities to improve quality and efficiency of end-to-end
processes. I am excited to learn from this innovative company and to
gain strategic and corporate knowledge.
I have a job with University Housing and on a personal note, I am
running my first half marathon in Tallahassee. I can’t wait to
achieve this goal.
