Sister Gertrude Morgan: The Mystic of New Orleans - Book - Page 88
When God speaks to me, He talks in a family
fashion as if speaking to a neighbor.
His voice is loud and heavy. When He calls, I always answer!
Here’s something God spoke to me that I
wrote down on one of my paintings:
My pretty little angel girl I’m happy for you my dear. You answered to
my calling and went through the streets laboring for me. Thirty years
you went where I told you to go you heeded God’s command when
some tackle you, you would ask, who must I obey God or man?
When I called you in 1934 to make thee as a signet lord choose
thee. You gave me a few little misunderstanding back talking
words I shaken you a small amount to let you know you was
my girl you didn’t hesitate of finding what I would have you to
do or wanted to be. You ask for strength and girded your loins
and begin to obey me a few years later in the city of n.o. l.a. Big
dada brought to your life a greater joy and a great surprised now
going on through that life you became the two lord’s wife.
I never forgot my first and most important vision when God told
me to spread the gospel with a loud voice. That’s why I always
used a megaphone. Mercy! That megaphone was a special part
of me and my ministry. If you listen closely, you can still hear
me in Paradise shouting and singing for you to find your way.
