Property Rationalisation
While rationalisation of property footprint has
been a focus for several years, these efforts were
accelerated and broadened following the global
adoption of hybrid and 昀氀exible working practices
which have remained since the pandemic.
Since October 2021, we have reduced our property portfolio by 22%
from 67 locations to 52. Within our existing locations as leases expire,
we look to reduce 昀氀oor space, made possible by hybrid working that
combine home and of昀椀ce working patterns.
Serviced of昀椀ces are also starting to be used to further reduce our impact.
The business plans to continue to reduce the number and size of of昀椀ce
spaces, with our 2 largest of昀椀ces in Luton and London being closed and
either amalgamating with existing of昀椀ces or moving to smaller and more
ef昀椀cient locations by early 2024.
Additionally, the business switched to purchasing 100% renewable
electricity for all its UK operations in October 2021.
We have launched a staff discussion with all UK colleagues on our
environmental plans, to actively seek their contributions on how we
achieve our objectives.
