O
n the morning of Friday the 4th October we were finally able to
inter my beloved wife Pauline’s ashes in the memorial garden
at All Saints’ Church, after a short but lovely service conducted by
Reverend Andy Cameron, ably assisted by Richard Beale alongside
good friends. Her memorial stone will be laid soon for all to see.
I would like, at this time, to offer my thanks to Andy and Richard
for making the occasion better for me. I have spoken to Richard to
learn more about All Saints’ and have decided to become a “Friend
of Brenchley Church “ and make a small donation to them on a
monthly basis. I would like to think that living in a lovely village as
we do, perhaps we could appreciate what a wonderful church we
have here, which is part of the central fabric of the village. So even
if some are not regular church attendees let’s be proud of what we
have.
Mike Flinders.
