Covid-19
Vaccinations
Update
22nd January
Our programme is – at the moment – being run by The Ridge Primary Care
Network. We are in very close contact with them regarding vaccine deliveries and
the cohorts they are inviting.
Patients may also be invited by the Coronavirus National Booking Service to a
national vaccination hub.
Please do not contact Brenchley or Horsmonden Surgery about booking an
appointment. Although we will do all we can to assist, we do not have access to
appointment bookings.
We wholeheartedly hope that individual GP practices will soon become eligible
to be vaccination sites. Until then please do all you can to accept your invitation
and attend for your Covid-19 jab. The whole programme is rapidly moving and
changing and we will update our website regularly with information and news on
the programme locally.
What can you do?
•
Attend for your vaccine when invited;
•
Make sure we have your up to date phone numbers;
•
Let us if know if you are a carer for a relative or friend so that we can keep
records updated;
•
Continue to follow all guidance on Lockdown and all the measures this
involves.
The Surgeries are open so please contact us if you need medical advice. We have
a number of on the day phone appointments for new and urgent consultations.
Routine book ahead phone appointments for follow up and less urgent matters
are always available. After a telephone call the doctor will arrange a face to face
appointment if needed. Please help us and other patients by only requesting an
on the day phone call if urgent – explain to the receptionists so that they can
schedule accordingly.
Thank you for your understanding. We share your frustration that we cannot
vaccinate our own patients and sincerely hope that this will change in the future.
Please remember to visit our website regularly for up to date information.
